Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing specialized speech-language services across two school locations, this role supports K-12 students primarily in middle school grades. The position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience working in educational settings and who holds required credentials.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver individual and group treatment for approximately 15-20 students on caseload
  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student progress
  • Manage caseload primarily without the use of AAC devices

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology
  • Must hold a 215 Endorsement or equivalent certification by the Mississippi Department of Education
  • Experience working within K-12 schools, with preference for middle school expertise
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage two service locations effectively
  • Working Hours and Location :

  • Position spans the full academic year, August through June 2026
  • Typical work hours are 7 : 45 AM to 3 : 15 PM
  • Located in Tunica, MS, servicing two educational sites
  • Part-time (15 hours per week) with an option for full-time hours based on candidate preference
