Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing specialized speech-language services across two school locations, this role supports K-12 students primarily in middle school grades. The position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience working in educational settings and who holds required credentials.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver individual and group treatment for approximately 15-20 students on caseload
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student progress
- Manage caseload primarily without the use of AAC devices
Qualifications and Experience :
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathologyMust hold a 215 Endorsement or equivalent certification by the Mississippi Department of EducationExperience working within K-12 schools, with preference for middle school expertiseStrong communication and organizational skills to manage two service locations effectivelyWorking Hours and Location :
