Ability to read log files and act accordingly. Editing XML, JSON, and ENV files. Understanding of REST APIs and web-based systems. Strong research, writing and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable working environment. Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Desire to travel and see the world. Ability to work independently and manage your own projects in a professional manner. A passion for innovation and the financial technology sector. Strong interpersonal skills. The Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will act as a key point of contact for clients, troubleshooting technical issues, configuring systems, and ensuring smooth operation across deployments. This role involves regular communication with clients, mapping requirements to platform capabilities, and proactive monitoring of systems. Over time, you will develop in-depth knowledge of electronic trading environments and the tools used by some of the worlds leading financial institutions.
What you will be doing
- Configuring applications to meet customer requirements.
- Working with Unix to configure low-latency servers to run P2D Analytics.
- Troubleshooting issues with application installations.
- Solving network problems using tools like P2D Analytics.
- Performing health checks and proactively monitoring installations.
