A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Irvine, CA office. The role focuses on providing legal advice and counsel in employment and labor law, helping employers develop strategies and solutions to enhance workforce engagement and stability.

Duties

Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies.
Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, such as commission and bonus plans.
Draft and revise policies and handbooks for clear employee communication.
Explain complex employment law issues to diverse audiences.
Identify problem-solving options and advise clients on practical legal solutions.

Requirements

4-6 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law preferred.

Understanding of current agency enforcement techniques is a plus.

Education

JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing.

Skills

Excellent attention to detail.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience conducting trainings or workplace investigations preferred.
