Overview : The North America office is looking for an experienced, social-first ACD Art Director to serve as the conceptual co-lead across a culture-focused account. Lead the visual side of social content and push the aesthetic and conceptual foundation of the work. This role is social-first and requires strong knowledge of gaming, music, and the creator / influencer space. The ACD will set and maintain the visual vision for the team, manage designers, motion designers, and editors, delegate projects, and provide clear feedback to ensure assets meet brand guidelines and high creative standards. This role may require travel for productions.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the visual design team and set the aesthetic output bar.

Manage daily project flow, delegate assignments, and ensure timely asset delivery.

Provide sharp, actionable notes on all visual assets.

Partner with the Creative Director to guide the team\'s creative vision.

Concept and oversee visual direction for campaigns, pitches, and productions.

Oversee design and delivery of social assets across stills, motion graphics, and edits; lead concepting for always-on work and campaigns.

Travel to productions and be on set to contribute creatively to social-first shoots.

Mentor junior associates and manage day-to-day progress of projects.

About You

You are an aesthetic leader who elevates art direction across projects large and small.

Strong Adobe skills and excellent file organization.

You love AI and experiment with its use in creative output.

Social media-obsessed with experience creating social content for YouTube, X, Instagram, and TikTok.

Passionate about music, culture, gaming, and influencer spaces.

Assets adhere to brand guidelines and are delivered to clients as the final gatekeeper.

Clear communicator, able to work with cross-functional teams globally and present internally and to clients.

Ensure quality, correct sizing and aspect ratios, safe zones, and branding across assets.

Proactively contribute ideas, best practices, and solutions to keep work streams healthy and clients happy.

Deliver a high volume of digital assets.

At least 6+ years in an Art Director / design role with 2+ years in a leadership role.

Proven mentoring ability and interest in growing others.

Interest in freelancing with potential for full-time conversion over time.

Salary Range : $120,000—$140,000 USD
