Utility Plant Planner - JLL
What this job involves
The Utility Plant Planner provides planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities within the utility plant. This position serves as a key liaison between maintenance teams and clients to ensure required resources are identified, planned, estimated, organized and scheduled prior to execution for efficient utilization of maintenance resources. You will work closely with other business functions to support organizational goals while ensuring applicable information and work order data is properly stored and maintained in client CMMS systems.
What your day-to-day will look like :
Relationship Management
Assist the Facilities Manager in various duties and coordinate with maintenance managers to assign vendors and work groups
Coordinate client vendors with scheduling to ensure contracted PM work and corrective work is planned, scheduled, and communicated across all teams
Complete basic PMs and inspections on miscellaneous utility assets with proper documentation
Collaborate with client representatives to understand their needs and ensure work schedules account for downtime / shutdown procedures
Process Management
Support building automation systems, building documentation, and the preventive maintenance program
Manage utility plant operational tasks and requirements
Administrative & Analysis
Communicate and manage work order requesters
Determine and arrange operational safety requirements for work order completion
Create and publish weekly, monthly and quarterly work schedules for client representatives
Coordinate and conduct scheduling meetings with maintenance teams and customers for planned maintenance activities
Support client audit processes as needed
Complete additional duties and tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience implementing maintenance repair activities in a process and building services environment with a utility plant
Facilities management experience including facility operations, budget management, and contract management (utility plant specific experience preferred)
Experience working on client accounts strongly preferred
Experience managing multiple vendors
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and outside contractors, architects, and engineers
