Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leading Childrens Hospital in West Virginia is seeking a Travel Pharmacist to support inpatient operations. This role rotates between the IV Room and main pharmacy operations and is ideal for someone with strong pounding skills and a collaborative mindset.

Role : Travel Pharmacist Pediatric Inpatient Operations

Location : West Virginia

Schedule : MondayFriday, Days (6 : 30 AM3 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 AM3 : 30 PM)

Start : ASAP

Key Responsibilities :

Sterile and non-sterile pounding (including hazardous drugs, TPN)
Order verification, cart fill, and Omnicell stock
Controlled substances and vaccine handling
Overseeing up topharmacy techs alongside 12 other pharmacists
Using Epic (EMR) and centralized manual cart fill workflows

Requirements :

Active WV Pharmacist License

BLS Certification

3 years of hospital / inpatient experience preferred

Strong munication and attention to detail
