Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized speech therapy services for students in grades K-12 across multiple school settings in Latrobe, PA. This leave contract position offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload primarily consisting of students with autism.

Qualifications :

  • Valid SLP credential with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with children, including those with autism spectrum disorder
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and collaborate with educational teams
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites

Location and Schedule :

  • Position requires service across three districts and five school buildings
  • Sites include senior high, junior high, and elementary schools
  • Workday consists of 7.5 hours including a 30-minute duty-free lunch
  • Five days per week with start / end times varying by day
  • Caseload includes 29 students from kindergarten through age 21
  • Responsibilities :

  • Deliver speech and language therapy predominantly in five autistic support classrooms
  • Assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet the unique needs of each student within various educational environments
