Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the process of bagging certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder. Your tasks will include building boxes, labeling, wrapping, filling small to medium-sized pouches of mushroom powder, and preparing completed boxes for shipment. You will also inspect products and boxes before shipment and assist in paperwork processes such as tracking counts and orders.

Responsibilities

• Lift and handle weights ranging from 20 to 50 lbs.
• Assist in the bagging process of organic mushroom powder.
• Build, label, and wrap boxes for shipment.
• Fill pouches with mushroom powder and seal them according to work orders.
• Inspect products and boxes before shipment.
• Assist with paperwork, tracking counts, and orders.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working near or in the dehydration process, which is a hot environment. You will wear a bunny suit and rotate between stations, including wash, packaging, dehydration, and milling. The schedule is Monday to Friday with three shifts available : 1st shift from 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm, 2nd shift from 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
