Position Summary :

Host / Hostess ensures residents receive freshly prepared meals served restaurant-style throughout the day in a professional, caring manner in accordance with federal and state regulations and Oaks Senior Living dining standards.

Assists residents and guests with all aspects of restaurant-style meal service for the Main Dining Room. Sets tables, takes food and beverage orders, serves residents and guests, and clears tables. Ensures dining room is vacuumed, tables cleared and cleaned, and tables reset after each meal service assigned.

Qualifications :

• Experience working for large groups
• Desire to work with older adults
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Friendly, caring disposition
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a satisfactory criminal history check
• Must have physical exam by a licensed physician
• Must have a negative drug screen
• Must be able to react in an emergency
