Overview

Ready to make a powerful impact in the construction industry by building and managing teams from within? We're seeking a Lead Construction Estimator to join a reputed General Contractor firm that has been transforming communities for over decades. This is a Full-Time position for its on-going commercial / industrial construction projects in Jacksonville, Florida . Open to Hybrid / Remote Work

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop high performing estimating team
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Conduct material-take offs and develop cost estimates within the commercial and light industrial construction industry
  • Actively involved in negotiating or scope clarifications with subcontractors to get the best number
  • Contribute in construction business development by establishing strategies to achieve budget goals
  • Coordinate with all the stakeholders from time to time

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 8 Years of experience in estimating and contract buyouts within the General Contracting industry, including for MEP work.
  • Proficient in estimating Commercial / Industrial Construction projects
  • Associates / Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Must be able to travel to company office 2-3 times per week or when needed
  • Detail oriented and data driven, strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills required.

    Up to $150,000 / year
