The Opportunity :
We are looking for an experienced Construction Professional to join our highly respected forensic consulting team. In this role, you will be the critical link between the field and the facts. You will conduct construction defect investigations, analyze complex design and construction challenges, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our forensic architects and testifying experts to help resolve significant disputes.

What You'll Do :
- Conduct meticulous on-site investigations to identify the root cause of construction defects and failures.
- Analyze construction documents, building codes, and industry standards to support expert analysis.
- Collaborate closely with our forensic architecture team and clients to develop case strategies.
- Assist in drafting clear, concise, and defensible reports used in mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
- Critically monitor and evaluate completed work, comparing as-built conditions to design and specifications.
What You'll Bring :
A minimum of 10 years of direct, hands-on construction experience is required (e.g., Superintendent, Project Manager, Quality Control Manager).An encyclopedic knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and sequencing.A proven ability to critically evaluate completed work and identify deviations from plans and standards.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must be able to articulate complex construction concepts clearly and effectively.A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is a plus, but your experience is what we value most.An active or previous license as an Architect, Professional Engineer (PE), or General Contractor is highly preferred, but not a requirement.Why You'll Love Working at Civic CM :
