This position will join the Global IP Network (GIN) team at NTT. NTT's Global IP Network is one of the world's largest Tier 1 global IP backbones, spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania on a single autonomous system number AS2914. As a top wholesale IP provider globally, our network has received many international recognitions, including Best Global Wholesale Carrier, Best North American Wholesale Carrier and Wholesale Operator of the Year, among others.

The Account Consultant (AC) is part of the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit and is responsible to meet and exceed monthly sales quota from the sale of high bandwidth IP transit services together with associated value-added services (including security services), to Internet-centric companies, both domestically and internationally, while minimizing customer churn and price erosion through active account management of an assigned customer base.

This is a hybrid role requiring ability to work on-site 3x / wk at the Redmond, WA, USA office.

In This Role You Will :

  • Manage a list of assigned existing accounts.
  • Develop account management and marketing plans consistent with position objectives.
  • Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan.
  • Ensure customer retention of assigned accounts.
  • Identify competitive pricing solutions for customers.
  • Assist with new product rollout and make sales presentations on new product lines to customers.
  • Perform myriad of tasks as required / and or assigned.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Flexibility to perform duties outside the standard 8am-5pm US time zones.

What Will Make You A Good Fit For The Role?

This role is perfect for you, if you :

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Have a minimum of (2) years of telecommunications sales, high tech sales or related experience.
  • Have a proven track record of success in managing a module of accounts in a high tech (or related) field.
  • Are proficient in use of Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM.
  • Have strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Working Conditions :

    Working conditions will be hybrid a blend of remote working and on-site (3x / wk) to the Redmond, WA, USA office.

    Target Base Salary : $50,000-$63,000K (based on experience) plus variable commissions.

    NTT intends to offer a base pay within this range dependent upon factors such as experience and job-related requirements. Base pay is one part of the total rewards offerings that NTT provides to employees. We also provide benefits offerings to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, supplemental life insurance, spouse and child life insurance, STD, LTD, Flex Spending Accounts and the Company's 401(k) retirement plan.
