More about our team St. Mary's Inpatient Rehabilitation offers transitional inpatient therapy and education for those with physical disabilities resulting from injury or illness. Our CARF-accredited center helps patients maximize function and independence while preparing them for their return home. The Inpatient Rehabilitation is a team of healthcare professionals working together to serve people with functional disabilities, their families, and the community, along with St Mary's Health Care System. We are helping our patients reach their full potential for independent living through education, therapeutic activities, and quality medical care. How you'll contribute A Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who excels in this role : Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state / federal laws Other duties as assigned Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
