Mro Buyer
This is an office-based role and will be fully onsite. The successful candidate will have their own workspace, including a cubicle with provided equipment. They will collaborate with other team members. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flexible hours available.
Qualifications :
- 1+ years of recent experience as a Buyer, preferably in MRO.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Steriline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in manufacturing, data entry, and handling vendor invoices.
- High School Diploma minimum (Bachelor's Degree preferred)

The MRO Buyer is responsible for managing the tactical sourcing function for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items across all facilities. This role involves sourcing responsibilities for indirect items, managing and maintaining MRO material master data, and ensuring optimal value for expenditures.
Responsibilities
Purchase goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.Oversee and maintain current inventory at satellite locations.Source new vendors to meet current and future demands.Handle large orders with invoices organized by product rather than quantity.Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and past transaction history.Negotiate volume, cash transaction, and other available discounts with vendors.Ensure purchasing documents are complete, accurate, and include reasonable terms and conditions.Maintain pricing histories and vendor records.Expedite orders as required.Communicate any changes to purchase orders with the requestor.Monitor and manage all open purchase orders.Perform other related duties as assigned.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00 / hr.
