job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, fluid checks) Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and are road-ready for daily use Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, inspections, and repairs Respond promptly to urgent repair requests to reduce operational delays Coordinate with management to schedule vehicle service and prioritize repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to vehicle maintenance Requirements : Proven experience as an automotive or diesel mechanic preferred; fleet maintenance experience preferred Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical components Proficient with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and technical manuals Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record – must be able to obtain DOT card Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members High school diploma or GED required Ability to work in various weather conditions Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug testing Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Must be willing to travel to our other PA and OH locations as needed Benefits : Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Supplemental insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for ongoing training and career growth!
