Traveling Mechanic

Pacific Rail Services is seeking a Chassis Mechanic to join our team!

We are looking for applicants with mechanical abilities, people who are good with their hands and someone able to work outdoors and be on the feet for a majority of the day. We're looking for someone with fundamental experience and people who are willing to work for a purpose on trailers, containers, and chassis. You would be responsible for chassis maintenance and repair working at the Norfolk Southern Buffalo, NY Railyard.  We do offer on the job training.

Job Summary :

• The Chassis Mechanic is responsible for inspecting and analyzing malfunctions, completing repairs and efficiently maintaining chassis and trailers.

Pay : $20-22 / hour based on experience.

You will be an employee of Pacific Rail Services and not an employee of the Railroad.
