Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and maintain a safe, healthful workplace.
• Participate in Lean, Continuous Improvement programs and initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in automation technology, facility maintenance, and best practices.
• Be flexible with work schedules to address machine issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
• Design, maintain, and improve assembly equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Manage secondary equipment phases for successful new program launches.
• Improve equipment uptime, capability, and reduce cycle times.
• Implement error-proofing systems throughout the department.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training on secondary equipment and machine operation to personnel.
• Respond promptly to downtime issues.
• Install and maintain end-of-line testing systems.
• Support quality improvements and corrective actions for products, processes, and equipment.
• Assist in launching new programs and implementing new technologies.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans for new equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for machine capabilities.
• Support LEAN manufacturing practices and departmental KPIs.
• Assist maintenance and engineering activities, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Collaborate with automation engineers and other departments.
• Work weekends as required.
