job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThis position is for a locum tenens hematology / oncology physician to provide both outpatient and inpatient coverage. The assignment begins in Fall 2025 or early 2026 and will continue on an ongoing basis. The setting includes both clinic and hospital-based care. The role involves scheduled clinic hours Monday through Friday with no regular call requirements. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 12 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 PM, and Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM. The provider will perform hospital consults as needed when patients are admitted. Experience using the IKnowMed EMR system is preferred. The ideal candidate is a board-certified hematologist / oncologist with an active license who is comfortable managing a busy patient load. This is a long-term, stable locum opportunity in a supportive facility environment located in Arizona.

- Hours per Shift : Monday Thursday 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (closed 12 : 00 PM 1 : 00 PM for lunch), Friday 8 : 00 AM 12 : 00 PM
Description :
Experience : Prior experience in both inpatient and outpatient hematology / oncology preferred
License : Active Arizona license or active IMLC accepted
Certifications : Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology, BLS required
Must-Have : Ability to manage a high patient volume and perform occasional hospital consults
