Description :

This is a contract position for an RN specializing in Emergency Services.

The shift is from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

The contract duration is for 13 weeks.

The unit has 48 private rooms and additional stretchers for patients.

There are a total of 111 staff members in the department.

Patient ratios include 1 : 4 for emergency cases, 1 : 5 for behavioral health, and 1 : 3 for cardiac / trauma situations.

The unit is equipped with Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers.

Experience with trauma and inpatient holding is preferred.

Common procedures performed include splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, and behavioral health de-escalation.

Candidates should be team players, self-starters, and skilled multitaskers.

The dress code includes navy blue scrubs for RNs.

All staff members are required to follow established policies and procedures.

The unit actively participates in committees and recognizes outstanding team achievements through various events.
