Some things you can expect to do :

• Work with project teams to lead and manage the full range of preconstruction phase activities, including estimating, design management, and project development.
• Perform accurate and thoughtful quantity take-offs of all construction systems and summarize data meaningfully.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bid proposals.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, OST, DESTINI Estimator, Building Connected, or other estimating and bid solicitation platforms.
• Scope and select subcontractors based on best value and project requirements.
• Record final estimates and maintain cost history.
• Support the development, architectural, and construction teams with preconstruction expertise, including value design, costs, project schedule, procurement, and project pursuits.
• Train estimators, cost engineers, and project management staff.
• Provide direction for understanding project scope, market pricing, and available resources.
• Assist clients and developers with conceptual budgets of all types; capable of cost modeling using Uniformat II system costs.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with trade partners as well as designers and engineering firms.

Compensation : The base pay is $137,000-$205,500 / annually. The salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and / or an incentive program.
