Tax Manager – Construction Focus

Compensation : Up to $150k+ base | 8% avg bonus | $3k-$10k profit sharing

Requirements : CPA required | 5-6+ years tax experience | Construction background preferred

Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Flexible, no set office days)

This role is for someone with construction tax expertise who wants to lead complex engagements, build client relationships, and have a clear path to partnership—without the PE rollup drama.

What You'll Do :

• Lead tax engagements for construction companies, contractors, and developers
• Handle percentage-of-completion, job costing, and construction-specific tax issues
• Develop tax strategies for growing construction businesses and multi-entity structures
• Supervise and mentor tax staff while building your own book of business
• Drive business development in construction, real estate, and related industries
