The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. This role requires clear, professional communication with healthcare providers to support timely clarifications and promote safe, effective patient care.

Hours : Monday-Friday 10AM - 6PM CST

Duties and Responsibilities :
Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completenessCommunicates clearly and professionally with other healthcare providers to obtain timely and accurate clarificationsComplies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the appropriate State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approachMaintains required licenses or certifications in good standingComplies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standardsAll other duties as assigned by managerSkills & Experience
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience with an active State Board Pharmacist licenseThree (3) years of experience preferredProven experience with medical and biological terminologyExperience with FrameworkLTC and Docutrack software's preferredProficient with the use of Microsoft Office productsAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentExcellent attention to detail and the ability to balance competing prioritiesMust be able to be licensed in multiple states and have the desire to obtain multiple state licenses thru the reciprocity process.Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacyCan be available on short notice and / or when planned aheadTarrytown Expocare is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
