Heavy Civil Project Engineer

We’re hiring a Project Engineer to join a leading heavy civil construction firm in the Chicago area. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent Civil Engineering or Construction Management graduates looking to build their careers.

• ?️ What You’ll Be Doing :
• Assist senior project management in the coordination and administration of active construction projects
• Help oversee field crews and ensure alignment with plans, specs, and schedules
• Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, and owner representatives
• Support the development of detailed project schedules and documentation
• Gain hands-on experience in all phases of heavy civil construction

✅ Who We’re Looking For :

• Recent graduate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Strong interest in highway, bridge, or transportation infrastructure
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced field environment
• Internship or co-op experience on heavy civil projects a plus
