Overview

My client is a well-established, stable organization with facilities across the country. This facility specializes in silicone-based products for several industries including aerospace, automotive, retail, transit, etc. There are around 130 employees at this facility. It is an exciting time in the company as they have started working with several new Fortune 500 companies including Tesla, GE, and Boeing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Participate in enhancing the manufacturing process by conducting studies to identify issues, providing solutions or recommendations, and implementing corrective or preventive actions.
• Analyze defective products or processes to determine root causes and offer input on corrective and preventive measures to prevent future failures. Implement solutions to improve yield.
• Conduct internal and external audits on products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications. Review and approve various quality documents.
• Collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and customers to drive improvement activities and ensure products and processes meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Lead quality and customer complaint investigations to resolve quality issues and prevent their recurrence.
• Support the qualification of new products, processes, or equipment through data collection and analysis.
• Assist in maintaining quality systems standards.
