Job Description

A forward-thinking enterprise is seeking an experienced D ata Warehouse Manager II to lead its Data Warehouse operations. This position plays a critical role in mentoring team members, overseeing data workflows, and enhancing strategic data capabilities across the organization. This is a hybrid role with an emphasis on team development, data integrity, and operational excellence in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coaching to developers, QA analysts, and support staff within the Data Warehouse team.
  • Oversee external and internal communications with vendors, regulators, and business partners to resolve data-related issues.
  • Lead onboarding and training efforts for Data Warehouse personnel to ensure consistent knowledge transfer.
  • Manage team workload and optimize workflow processes through effective delegation and problem-solving.
  • Oversee data reporting, feeds, and analytics to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.

    • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise data environments such as Data Warehouses or Data Marts.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience using data manipulation tools and cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, DevOps, Data Studio).
  • Understanding of insurance products, coverages, and rating frameworks.

    The base salary range for this position is $125,000–$145,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
