This position as a Physical Therapist allows you to evaluate, plan, direct and administer Physical Therapy interventions in accordance with your individualized plan of care. Physical Therapists coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (Physical Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapy Tech).

HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE

You work the day shift, four 10 hour shifts per week, every 6th weekend you work Saturday, rotating with 5 other physical therapists for inpatient coverage. This is an hourly position with many opportunities for maintaining a work-life balance.

As a Physical Therapist, at SHS you would work with the rehab team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You have plenty of rehab support in a very dynamic and active team environment. Candidates well get the best of both worlds working in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The pharmacist team provides call and call back but is also supported by afterhours services. We work hard and we play hard. You will find no work quotas here, only patient care.

Collaborating closely with your team, you will ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained, and are conducted in an expeditious manner. The Physical Therapist works closely with the nursing and medical staffs and other clinical department managers in addressing rehab issues as they are related to the services provided to all patients ranging from the newborn to the elderly.
