Housekeeping Supply Clerk

The Housekeeping Department plays an essential role in delivering exceptional service, and the Housekeeping Supply Clerk ensures the team has the inventory, tools, and resources needed to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury presentation.
The Housekeeping Supply Clerk is responsible for managing housekeeping inventory, coordinating supply orders, and ensuring all storage closets, pantries, and carts are properly stocked for daily operations. This role involves inventory tracking, vendor coordination, receiving shipments, and maintaining an organized supply system. The Supply Clerk supports the efficiency and success of the housekeeping team by ensuring they have timely access to linens, cleaning products, guest amenities, and equipment.

Shift & Schedule Availability : Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate : $18- $20 / hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track housekeeping inventory including linens, guest amenities, cleaning chemicals, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and organize deliveries; verify accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.
- Assist with supply ordering, vendor communications, and ensuring cost-effective procurement in coordination with leadership.
- Maintain storage rooms and closets in an organized, clean, and accessible manner.
- Distribute supplies and amenities to room attendants, house attendants, and supervisors as needed.
- Assist with preparation and stocking of housekeeping carts and pantries for daily use.
- Monitor usage patterns and identify shortages, overstocking, or potential cost savings.
- Assist in preparing monthly inventory reports and participate in regular stock counts.
- Follow proper safety and handling procedures for chemicals and equipment.
- Provide professional and courteous interactions when assisting staff or working in guest-facing areas.
- Support housekeeping leadership with special projects related to supply chain management.

Qualifications
Previous experience in inventory, supply, warehouse, or hospitality support role preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to use basic computer systems for data entry, inventory tracking, and reporting.Familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and housekeeping operations a plus.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for extended periods.Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred (for operating resort carts / vehicles to transport supplies).
