We are seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Boston, MA. Responsibilities :

  • Call Coverage : Primary responsibility involves providing on-call vascular surgery coverage for inpatients.

  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with general surgery PAs who are in-house most of the time, as well as a fully staffed team of hospitalists and ICU attendings.
  • Patient Care : Rounding on unassigned patients, with an expected patient load of around 4 per shift.

    • Requirements :

  • Licensing : Must be licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Board Certification : Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
  • Fellowship : Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery is preferred.
  • Certifications Required :

    • BLS

  • Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated to be 30-90 days, with temporary privileges available for qualified candidates.
  • Privileges : No hospital / surgery center privileges are required for this role.
