About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU required

License : Active nursing license required upon submission

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required

Must-Have : Local candidates preferred. Must live within a specified distance of the facility.

Description :

Position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.

The shift will be three 12-hour day shifts.

Weekend requirement is every other weekend, totaling two weekends per month.

No requests for time off on holidays or the weekends surrounding holidays will be accepted.

First week will involve orientation and precepting shifts on day shift.

Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is mandatory.

The ICU RNs may be asked to float between numerous ICU units as needed.

If staffing support is required, ICU RNs may be asked to float to medical-surgical units.

Candidates must adhere to a maximum of five days' requests for time off, with no more than two consecutive days.

All time-off requests must comply with the outlined policy.

The facility will provide a response regarding floating assignments as necessary.

Documentation and compliance with all requirements are expected before the start date.

Candidates will need to provide proof of vaccinations prior to starting.

No exemptions for vaccines will be considered unless under specified conditions.
