Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,910 - $2,040 per week Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Bangor, ME 04401 – Maine healthcare jobs Facility : Level II Trauma Center, Medical Surgical Unit (G5) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 25 / 2025 – End : 2 / 21 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A) Hours per Week : 48 guaranteed Employment Type : Travel RN / Travel Nursing Unit Details : 44 private and semi-private rooms Free parking available in designated areas Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Tele RN experience (more preferred) BLS certification required NIHSS and ACLS certifications preferred Proficient in reading and interpreting rhythm strips Previous charge nurse experience highly preferred First-time travel nurses welcome Professional appearance (scrubs : any color) Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical diagnoses (excluding primary cardiac) Monitor patients on telemetry and manage conditions such as stroke, COPD, respiratory illnesses, GI bleed, renal failure, electrolyte imbalance, altered mental status, and non-operable fractures Administer and manage cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone), insulin drips, and heparin drips (training provided) Perform trach care, chest tube management, wound care, IV starts, central line management, and other medical-surgical nursing skills Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomists, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and PT / OT / ST Float to other hospital units with Med / Tele patients as needed Participate in weekend rotations (every other weekend) Complete 2 days of hospital orientation and 1 unit shift Experience the best of Maine nursing jobs in Bangor—a welcoming city with scenic parks, a lively downtown, and access to outdoor adventures.
