Shift : Nights- 7pm to 7am

Travel Pay Rate : $2800 weekly ($43.16 / hr on w2 + $1246 / week stipend)

Local Pay Rate : $70 per hour on W2

Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025

Job Type : 13-week Contract

Position Summary :

MUST HAVE LABOR AND DELIVERY EXPERIENCE AND BE WILLING TO WORK IN LABOR / DELIVERY AND RECOVERY!!!!!

Responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Practice, implementing and evaluating the age appropriate care of all patients in the department (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery and post-op gyn patients), for managing supplies and equipment, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of the unity and other hospital departments.

RN adheres to hospital policies regarding,confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives and ADA.

Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and supports the mission, vision and values of the organization.

One year minimum of acute care experience as an RN.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Successfully completes general nursing and unit orientation.

Effective communication skills, written and oral. Computer skills.

Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive nursing care to women throughout their reproductive life cycle, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Conduct physical examinations and assessments of patients, documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.

Assist in various procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and diagnostic evaluations.

Educate patients on family planning, prenatal care, and other women’s health issues while promoting health coaching practices.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients with complex needs.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of medical records.

Participate in patient triage and provide critical care as needed in emergency situations.

Required Qualifications :

RN Maine State License, BLS, ACLS, NRP & STABLE Required
