job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery from diverse sources (APIs, databases, external systems). Optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability using tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, and Airflow. Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance through validation, monitoring, and metadata management. Partner with data scientists and analysts to support model development and deployment for AI / ML use cases. Translate business requirements into data models and reporting structures that support decision-making. Enable advanced analytics through integration of tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Python-based ML libraries. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field. 6+ years in data architecture, engineering, or analytics roles with proven success in enterprise-scale data initiatives. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks), and real-time data distribution. Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++) and data tools (SQL, R, SAS, Excel). Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and metadata systems. Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical modeling (e.g., PCA, clustering, CNNs, RNNs). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams.

Summary
The Data Platform Specialist will support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform. This role combines architectural vision, engineering execution, and analytical insight to ensure the platform supports enterprise-wide data needs-from ingestion and transformation to advanced analytics and machine learning. The ideal candidate will collaborate across IT, analytics, and business teams to deliver a unified data ecosystem aligned with strategic goals.

- Design and implement the structure of data systems including databases, data lakes, and warehouses.
- Define long-term technology strategy and innovation roadmaps across data engineering, analytics, and platform capabilities.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies for data storage, processing, and analytics.
