Business Process Modeler
At Regions, the Business Process Modeler focuses on building out business process documentation, analysis, maintenance, and process improvement for a specific line of business. Ensures key high priority processes are prioritized for mapping with appropriate components identified and Risk Management Foundational Elements included.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partners with process owners and line of business subject matter experts to perform current state assessments and completion of high priority assigned current state process maps
- Raises awareness of backlog opportunities to facilitate onboarding and enhance improvements for target state processes
- Conceptualizes, applies, analyzes, and evaluates information gathered as a guide to action
- Interacts with and manages progress of process mapping with key program stakeholders across the line of business
- Updates or redesigns business processes as needed
- Tracks progress of committed and prioritized mapping efforts along with appropriate escalations where applicable
- Presents outputs, learnings, successes, and findings to line of business leadership
- Challenges and questions stakeholders to generate the right level of understanding and details of current state business processes
- Assists with identifying risks associated with business processes and ensures that risks, controls, and other applicable foundational elements are identified in the process documentation efforts
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field and six (6) years of experience with process mapping, process management or related with emphasis on business process modeling, analysis, compliance, and / or risk managementOr high school diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience with process mapping, process management with emphasis on business process modeling, analysis, compliance, and / or risk managementFinancial services experience or other relevant corporate experiencePreferences
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six SigmaConsulting, project management, or process design experienceKnowledge of risk management frameworks and control frameworksSkills and Competencies

Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
Job Range Target :
Minimum : $90,676.30 USD
Median : $115,720.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans :
This job may participate in an annual discretionary bonus plan.
