Architect - Web Technologies

Altera .We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect – Web Applications to own the technical architecture, design, and hands-on implementation of Altera.com and its connected digital ecosystem! This role will serve as the technical authority for ensuring our enterprise website and related platforms including the CMS, content delivery systems, documentation portal, community portal, learning management system, partner portal – are designed for scalability, security, performance.The Architect will define and enforce architectural standards, integration patterns, and best practices across all web platforms, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and vendor partners. This role requires a unique blend of strategic architectural vision and hands-on technical expertise, with the ability to translate complex business needs into robust, future-proof technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical architecture expertise, hands-on solution design skills, and cross-platform integration experience, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale web implementations. Architect solutions for scalability, performance, availability, and security, including role-based access control and secure content entitlement models. Configure and customize platforms including Acquia Drupal, Fluid Topics, Docebo, and Khoros to meet business requirements. Review vendor deliverables for technical accuracy, scalability, and compliance with requirements. Translate business requirements into platform-agnostic, solution-focused technical specifications.

Strong knowledge of enterprise search, taxonomy / metadata design, and structured content delivery. Experience with DITA publishing workflows, ideally Ixiasoft and Fluid Topics. Proficiency in web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize performance.
