Job Overview

  • The successful candidate must work cooperatively within diverse environments, have excellent interpersonal skills, and successfully establish and maintain positive relationships with hospital medical staff, technical staff and referring physicians

Position Highlights

  • Qualified Candidates :
  • At least five years of hospital-based experience is preferred
  • Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP
  • Active Florida Medical License and / or FCVS is a plus

    • About the Community HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their West Florida Division is seeking a Pathology Medical Director to be based at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital which is located in Inverness, FL. Inverness is located 30 minutes west of The Villages and just over an hour to Orlando.     Qualifications

  • Pathology Services consists of over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. We provide expert diagnosis in complex and challenging fields. Among our top priorities is employing the best talent to advance care for our patients.
  • AP and CP board certification is required
