Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Experience in accessing ports
• Experience in administration of blood and blood products
• Experience in administration of chemotherapy (no oncology experience required)
• Experience in recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values
• Experience in starting and maintaining IVs
• Telemetry monitoring experience

Description :

Seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a night shift position.

The RN will work in a medical surgical unit with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care.

No oncology experience is required for this role.

The daily census on the unit is approximately 48 patients.

Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patients and managing their care effectively.

Interdisciplinary support will be available from various teams, including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.

Candidates must be skilled in IV push narcotic agents, monitoring chemotherapy, and PICC line care.

The nurse will also be responsible for foley catheter insertion and management.

Recognizing and managing side effects will be integral to patient safety and care quality.

Candidates should be prepared to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting the position.
