SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Luzerne County Transportation Authority is seeking an outgoing and customer-focused Part Time Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The Dispatcher will play a vital role in ensuring efficient transportation operations while providing the highest level of service to our customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. 20 - 25 hours weekly. Must be available for nights and alternating Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities :

• Customer Service Excellence :

Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding transportation services.

Monitor and coordinate daily transportation schedules to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.

Utilize dispatching software to track vehicles and manage routes effectively.

Proactively identify and address potential service disruptions or delays.
