Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Health Care System seeks to add a Physician Assistant to work directly with an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Spine Fellowship.

• This position includes two days in the OR and three days in the clinic.
• The position will be spine focused but also will include some general orthopedics.
• The group has their own MRI, Physical Therapy Center and ASC.
• The Physician Assistant would run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the doctor.
• Physician Assistants need to be self-starters that are self-motivated!
• Responsibilities include : H&P s, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds and call within a clinic setting.
• Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified, have an orthopedic rotation, and should have a connection to the region.
• The location is within the Morristown, NJ area.
• Compensation : Salary is open (depends on experience), plus a bonus. Excellent benefits package!
