We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our Florence office, working on a dynamic mix of cases including Workers' Compensation, Trucking, Premises Liability, and Professional Liability. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a growth mindset, eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative legal team.

We are open to remote candidates who live within 2 hours of our Florence office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and appearing in court.
  • Analyze complex legal and factual issues to develop effective case strategies.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective case management.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting assigned practice areas.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to support firm goals and client outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of litigation experience preferred; exposure to workers' compensation, trucking, or liability cases is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Detail-oriented and intellectually curious, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
