C12 / King Air (B200 PT6) Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) – Cheyenne, WY.
Responsibilities
- A valid FAA A&P Certificate is Required.
- Perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance on C-12 / King Air (B200 / PT6) aircraft.
- Servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness, including avionics & electrical systems, engines, flight controls and airframe components.
- Repair using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills.
- Comply with aircraft records procedures outlined in DA PAM 738-751.
- Understand functions and requirements of computerized maintenance software.
- Perform aircraft recovery missions as necessary.
- Perform engine run or taxi operations. Meet requirement to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of employment.
- Read and interpret manufacturers7s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is Required.A valid (FAA) A&P Certificate is Required.Union CBA Site provides 3 levels of A&P employment based on specific years of A&P mechanic experience on the C-12 / King Air (B200 PT6) (MDS) Mission Design Series aircraft assigned.AM-1 : Two (2) Years of A&P mechanic experience required, with two (2) or more years of specific C-12 / King Air experience preferred.AM-2 : Five (5) years of C-12 / King Air specific hands-on A&P aircraft mechanic experience required.AM-3 : Ten (10) years of FAA A&P mechanic experience, and thirteen (13) years of specific C-12 / King Air aircraft experience required.Must have the ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit. BMI requirement.Mechanic Tools and Toolbox are Required; mechanics must provide their own tools and toolbox. Tools must be etched with mechanic PID and toolbox shadowed for each tool (recruiter will provide tool information).A valid Driver's License is Required.Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned under the Union CBA (site currently operates one shift, Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week).Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and pass AR-95-20 pre-employment medical requirements.Security Clearance Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization. US Citizenship is required to hold a US Government Secret Clearance and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility.(AR95-20) A&P Mechanic Pre-employment Medical Requirements
Medical / Physical : Personnel performing engine runs, ground taxi, ordnance loading, or operating self-propelled support equipment within ten (10) feet of the aircraft silhouette must pass a physical examination from a qualified medical professional prior to conducting these operations, and subsequently on a periodic basis not to exceed five (5) years.BMI body mass index below 40 is required.Physical and Additional Qualifications
