DevOps / Release Engineer

Job Description

McKesson’s Provider Solutions is experiencing significant growth, focus and investment. To support our business goals, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Application Engineer to support our e-commerce application. In this role, you will become one of the subject-matter-experts (SMEs) on the application. You will also provide world-class assistance to customers (internal & external) to resolve their issues within our e-commerce application.

Key Responsibilities

• Deeply understand the e-commerce application and its integrations with both internal & external systems.
• Support internal & external customers with support issues as well as provide an understanding of application capabilities.
• Provide technical assistance that supports the implementation and maintenance of business systems.
• Ability to document system design and functionality, creating and maintaining a thorough knowledge base.
• Coordinate application releases, ensuring the appropriate change control process and release readiness checklist have been completed.
• Coordinate with the software delivery team to understand new features that are being released to ensure adequate knowledge is maintained by this role for support needs.
• Assist the production support team when needed to resolve system issues.
• Support server maintenance such as certificate renewals and upgrades.
• Ability to implement & enhance monitoring capabilities of the system to ensure desired system availability.
