This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The unit consists of 37 beds, and we are looking for RNs who are flexible and can adapt to the needs of the facility, including the possibility of floating to other units. Key Responsibilities : - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Med / Tele unit. - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans. - Monitor and interpret vital signs and cardiac rhythms. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Flexibility to work other units as needed and to take on charge nurse responsibilities with appropriate training. Requirements : - Active New York RN license. - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical / telemetry nursing. - 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. - Certification in NIH Stroke Scale and AHA BLS is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications : - 2 years recent experience in acute medical-surgical / telemetry settings is preferred. Work Schedule : - 36 or 48 hours available weekly. - Must be available for 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. - At least 1 holiday must be worked during the contract period. Guaranteed Hours : - Contract Weeks : 91 Miscellaneous : - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. - On-call support will be available 24 / 7. - Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed.
