Use the platform to generate lessons and engage students with real-time instructional support (Tutor Copilot features). Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics. Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Elementary School Writing and ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. 1-on-1 Online Tutoring – Provide personalized instruction to individual students. Instant Tutoring – Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you’re available.
Overview
The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students for online Elementary School Writing tutoring nationwide. Tutors have the flexibility to set their own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of home.
Compensation
Base pay range : $18.00 / hr - $40.00 / hr
- Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40 / hour.
- Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
- Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
