About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery, cervical exams, and fetal monitor interpretation

License : Indiana RN License required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP required

Must-Have :

• Minimum 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery
• Cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation skills
• Current Indiana RN License
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Description :

General job duties include the care of the laboring, pre-term, postpartum OB patient, and newborns.

This position requires participation in vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation.

The unit utilizes EPIC documentation for computerized charting.

Medication management is through Pyxis systems, and Hospira IV pumps are used as well.

Fetal monitoring is conducted using GE Corometric fetal monitoring equipment.

Orientation will consist of mandatory attendance for all scheduled days without exception.

Floating to other units or departments is not required.

The nurse-to-patient ratio in this unit is currently unknown.

The dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs.
