What you will do :

Ferroglobe has an immediate opening for a dedicated Plant Laborer to join our mining operations team. This role is crucial for the daily operations of our mine, providing hands-on support in various tasks related to the processing and handling of materials extracted from the mine. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual who values safety, teamwork, and is committed to contributing to the efficient operation of our mining facilities.

• Material Handling : Safely operate and manage the equipment used for transporting, processing, and storing ore and other materials.
• Equipment Operation : Utilize a variety of heavy machinery and equipment such as loaders, shovels, trucks, conveyors, and crushers following all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Maintenance and Cleaning : Perform routine maintenance checks and cleaning of machinery and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards are met.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Participate in safety training sessions and drills.
• Inspection and Reporting : Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs. Report any issues to supervisors promptly.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks. Communicate effectively to report progress or concerns.
