Pay Rate $40.85 / hr. on W2
Need : A minimum of six (6) years of related experience, including at least two (2) years of general business experience focused on data analysis or planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Job Description :
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager who can independently manage multiple concurrent projects. This is not a Program Manager role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking project progress, coordinating test data, tracking hours, publishing updates, and adhering to Sedgwick's established processes.
Skills Required :
- Strong project management experience
- Hands-on project manager with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Self-starter and self-motivated professional with experience handling complex projects
- Experience working with the Waterfall methodology
- Background in BI / DW and / or Server / Database Upgrade Project Management
- Experience collaborating with various functional teams
- Strong data analysis and Excel skills
- Excellent documentation abilities
- Exceptional oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
PRIMARY PURPOSE :
To develop and manage project assignments through completion; communicate results; make recommendations to management; and ensure process compliance and oversight.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Identify required resources and research project data, procedures, and history for a thorough understanding of project direction.Generate and analyze statistical data reports.Develop, prepare, and manage project plans through completion.Communicate project activity and progress to all involved parties.Resolve issues involving stakeholders when appropriate.Transition projects to management personnel upon completion.Participate in oral presentations.Develop and provide training as needed.Ensure completion of all required release materials.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Administer company personnel policies and adhere to staffing standards and training recommendations.Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans.Conduct performance discussions and evaluations.Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform other duties as assigned.Support the organization's quality programs.Travel as required.QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited college or university preferred.Coursework in Computer Science is preferred.Experience :
Six (6) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.Two (2) years of general business experience with emphasis on data analysis or planning.Skills & Knowledge :
Knowledge of related field procedures or insurance-related and / or managed care systems and operationsStrong project management expertiseProficiency in data analysis with advanced Excel skillsExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and PC literacyStrong analytical, interpretive, and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team environmentProven ability to meet or exceed performance competenciesAbout BCforward
