Lead Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning UPS, batteries and PDU at a specified customer site following predetermined script. Provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external customers. Keep current on Safety Field Change Notices and Service Tips.

Lead Field Service Engineer responsibilities include commissioning UPS, batteries and PDU at a customer site according to a predetermined script, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external customers. Stay current on Safety Field Change Notices and Service Tips.

Requirements

• 1 year of team lead experience
• 5+ years' experience in this field and ability to follow MOPS on equipment such as UPS, batteries, PDU's / Power Distribution Units, Static Automatic Transfer Switches, Branch Circuit Monitoring, and other electrical equipment
• Working knowledge of OHM\'s law and electronic theory
• 3 phase / 480v experience required
• Familiarity with electrical / electronic test equipment and fundamentals
• Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints
• Ability to evaluate the operating conditions of equipment
• Standard computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Mechanical aptitude
• Clear, concise, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers
• Must have the ability and self-motivation to manage one\'s own schedule
