PRESS BRAKE OPERATORS – Monday through Friday- 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm – hourly pay rate $25.00
Operates and maintains press brake machines to bend sheet metal into desired shapes and sizes.Plays a crucial role in manufacturing and metal fabrication by shaping metal components with precision.
Key responsibilities of a Press Brake Operator include :
- Operating press brake machines :
Setting up and adjusting the machine according to production schedules and specifications.
Ensuring sufficient raw materials are available and preparing materials for bending, including measuring and aligning them.
Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Performing routine maintenance on the press brake to keep it in good working condition.
Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Utilizing automation systems, including machine programming, to improve production efficiency.
Troubleshooting issues that may arise during operation and making necessary adjustments.
Skills and knowledge required for this role :
