Cost Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. This role is pivotal in collecting and analyzing cost information, particularly focusing on raw products and inventory. The successful candidate will be well-versed in determining cost standards and will work closely with our Manufacturing Accounting Production Information Controls System.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze cost information related to raw products and inventory.
• Determine and analyze cost standards.
• Utilize the MAPICS system for effective cost management in a manufacturing setting.
• Prepare and maintain Excel dashboards, using tools like VLookups and Pivot Tables.
• Conduct cost accounting and analysis, focusing on inventory and materials.
• Participate in month-end closing processes and reporting.
• Assist with financial forecasting and the preparation of financial statements.

Work Environment

This position requires working in-office from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a small, privately owned company that is deeply invested in the community and local charities.

This is a permanent position based out of Ellettsville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00 / yr.

401K Match and yearly bonuses to salary.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Ellettsville, IN.
