Position Overview :

Woolpert is hiring an Engineering Designer to join our dynamic Aviation team. This position may be based in any of the following offices : Chicago, IL, Cincinnati, OH, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Dayton, OH, Indianapolis, IN. This role is responsible for creating and reviewing technical drawings, particularly using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. You will prepare detailed installation and design models, conduct quality control checks, and review client documentation.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What you will do

• Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings
• Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation if service is requested by the engineer or project manager
• Perform quality control redline checks before having plan sets roll up to Project Managers
• Work with AutoCAD functions including sheet set manager, tool palettes, AutoCAD annotations, Civil 3D annotations, tables, and scales
• Develop design models including points, alignments, profiles, cross sections, corridors, surfaces, and pipe networks
• May assign / manage efforts in the CAD / Civil 3D department
• Train staff on the most current technologies being utilized in the industry

Pay Range

$65,800 - $98,800 USD
